Start Time: 18:30
Station: BTS Talat Phlu or MRT Tha Phra
Run Start: Small parking lot close to Talad Phlu Market / Railroad
The Hare (Moonlight) and the Co-Hare (Ambrose), have combined their cumulative wisdom of 140+ years to come up with an amazing run (or walk) in the area of Talat Phlu and its surroundings, through the many temples and khlongs which this area is renowned for.
There will be two distances on offer… a 10 km run with a short-cut, to make it a short(er) 6 km run / walk.
The run will be an A to B run, but fortunately the B site is not too far from the A site.
A scenic khlong-side restaurant has already been selected for the On On.
If you have a choice between the BTS and MRT – then take the BTS. It will be a little easier to find (and a walk).
BTS Green Line
Talat Phlu can be reached by the BTS Silom Line via the Siam station on the Sukhumvit Line.
Take the train to BTS Talat Phlu station and leave the station by Exit 4. Buy your water or other beverages at the Family markt where you come down Exit 4.
Cross the Ratchapruek Road, and walk north along the east side of Ratchadapisek (inner ring road, also called Charun Sanitwong Road) for 600m towards the overpass at Thoet Thai Road.
Stay on the right side of the overpass and turn into a small entrance of the parking lot (see picture below) which is about 100 meter before the old Train track of Talat Phlu.
MRT Blue Line
